Submission Instructions

Papers submitted to ISMCIT 2025 must be original, not previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere, and they must not be submitted to any other event or publication during the entire review process. Paper submissions should follow the IEEE template for conferences. Submitted papers will undergo a peer review process, coordinated by the Technical Program Committee.

Please find below the page limits (including all figures and references) for the different submission types:

Regular Papers

A maximum of 6 pages (10-point font) are allowed for each paper, all figures and references included.

Short Papers

Work-in-progress papers are limited to 3 pages. This type of article is mainly intended to spread innovative/disruptive ideas by research institutions. Sharing late-breaking or work-in-progress results provides the chance for in-depth discussions with other conference attendees and are therefore especially well-suited for obtaining feedback on ongoing research or controversial ideas.

Demo papers are limited to 3 pages. This type of article is mainly intended to spread innovative technologies or services by companies or public institutions. The demo paper (and talk in the dedicated session) offers a unique opportunity to demonstrate ground-breaking prototypes, illustrate innovative solutions, and discuss pertinent emerging technologies with the audience.

Accepted regular, work-in-progress, and demo papers will be included in the conference proceedings (and in IEEE Xplore). Each accepted paper requires a full registration and must be presented in-person at the conference.
